When should I let you know how many people we're going to have? What's the ideal team size? Who decides on each team?
Provide final numbers 10 business days before your event. We make various equipment and facilitator decisions based on the number of people and the number of teams. Ideal team size vary by program, but generally range from 5 - 12 people per team. If you are a small group, we would recommend smaller teams, and will work with you to find the best team sizes for your group.
If you know that you want certain people to meet and get to know other people in your group, this is your chance. If you have no idea, or have way too many things on your plate, you can leave it up to us. We'll split the teams up randomly during the event.
Can you tell me more about the icebreaker/energizer?
The icebreaker involves people moving around, pairing up and telling a little bit about themselves within the program theme.
Can everyone participate?
Yes, everyone can!
Can we mix in some of our branding messages along with those directions?
We can absolutely work with you to ensure that your messages get heard. That's part of the fun. These would go in the verbal directions and we can customize some of the challenges.
Do you provide a facilitator/emcee?
We provide a lead facilitator and assistant. The teams receive both written and verbal directions from the lead facilitator.
Is there a debriefing at the end of the program?
There is always a wrap-up, but a formal debrief session can only be added to your event if you let us know ahead of time. A debrief can include a facilitated discussion around how teams worked together and takeaways from this experience.
Is there a winning team? Are there prizes?
Winning teams are determined by accumulated points throughout the event. Points are based on challenges (location specific, when applicable). Teams can be awarded extra points for outstanding photos or completing extra missions.
We do not supply prizes with this program. However, some clients choose to sweeten the pot by giving out prizes to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams. We suggest keeping the cash value of these prizes low. Consider gift certificates in the amount of $5, $10, or $25 for Starbucks, iTunes, or any local business.
Each event flow is different. We're happy to chat through specific events and how we can tailor them to your team.
